He might be small but he’s hilarious, the comedian, Billy Tellier didn’t miss out on any occasion to make his first good impression last night at the Salle Albert-Rousseau.
Two weeks after Montreal, it was Quebec’s turn to discover Telliers’ first solo show, La loi du plus fort. After ten years of television, radio, and writing for other comedians, at the top of his 5 feet and 3 inches, Billy Tellier throws himself on the field.
Once the case of his small height was dealt with and after the long series of men-women relationships, Tellier demonstrated that he knew how to give out punch lines in a segment where he imagines himself being a country dictator.
But the show really takes off when he recalls his nephew’s baptism while he says everything that goes through his mind to his girlfriend.
In addition to his ability to take on several characters, he can adapt his shows to the city. His monologues about the importance of happiness vs. unhappiness are incredibly funny as well.
More tickets will be sold this Friday for October 6th.
