Jeffery Hale Community Services is offering a three-part workshop series this Spring for parents who wish to make home made baby food for their infants. These workshops allow parents to learn more about feeding baby and introducing solids while preparing delicious, nutritious baby food together with other parents. There’s lots of time for discussion and questions. This is real hands-on learning with lots of time for discussion. Participants even take home samples. The informative sessions are led by registered dietitian, Clara Lavandier and are scheduled for May 17, 31 and June 7, 2011 from 10 am to 12:30 pm in the Jeffery Hale pavilion (1270, chemin Ste-Foy).
Come find out how and when to introduce new foods. Learn to prepare puree baby food with other parents and share the workload.
Learn how to progress baby from puree foods to table foods. Meet other parents. Create balanced menus for baby and discover more about foods that will help your baby grow and be healthy.
Baby sitters are available during session to mind infants and parking is free. Registration is limited to 8 participants – first come, first serve.
