Since 1981, English-language community theatre has survived and thrived in Quebec City in the form of the Quebec Art Company (QAC).
To celebrate this success, the company is having a party – a gala to be exact!
The evening will be full of good wine and food, entertainment and company, and all will happen at the historic Morrin Centre in Old Quebec at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3.
The evening will include a retrospective film of past QAC shows as well as live performances by both QAC members and others from the community.
QAC President Sharon MacLeod promises that it will be full of music, singing and acting. “We are delighted by the interest that this event has generated”, she says, adding “it’s looking to be a really fun evening, and there may even be some audience participation”.
All are welcome and those interesting in attending are encouraged to reserve tickets ($20) by going to the QAC website (www.quebecartcompany.com).
